Charme's Lullabies

During the Summer of 2014, I worked at a theater and artistic expression camp, where participants- while enjoying the benefits of camping in the beautiful French countryside- can take workshops in dance, music, theater and visual arts. I spent the summer working artistically with kids and teenagers, and at night I would take my music box and go from tent to tent to sing the kids to sleep. After a few days of singing the children lullabies, the adults started to ask for me to sing to them as well. So I agreed, but I required one condition… I would only sing to them, if they were in bed in their pajamas and everyone accepted these terms. It was such a sweet reminder of the child in all of us to be welcomed by these adults in their pajamas.
